MGM Mirage Shareholders File Class Action Lawsuit

mgm_logoShareholders have sued MGM Mirage and its top executives for securities fraud. If you bought MGM Mirage stock between August 2, 2007 and March 5, 2009 you may participate in the shareholder class action.

Defendants named in the lawsuit:

MGM Mirage
J. Terrence Lanni (former CEO and Chairman)
James J. Murren (CFO)
Daniel J. D’Arrigo (Senior VP Finance)

The class action lawsuit claims MGM and its top executive officers misled investors by:

• making false and misleading statements about the financing of its CityCenter development.
• concealing information about the impact of construction defects and delays at CityCenter.
• selling their personal shares at artificially inflated prices to unsuspecting shareholders.

The lawsuit claims defendants’ unlawful conduct artificially increased the price of MGM’s stock between August 2, 2007 and March 5, 2009. During this period MGM insiders sold over $90 million of their MGM stock.
